La mia maestra delle elementari diceva che avevo la testa fra le nuvole. Al liceo la professoressa di inglese mi rimproverava perché facevo troppe domande. Mia mamma sosteneva che avessi la testa dura. In altre parole, immaginativa, curiosa e caparbia: tre qualità che mi accompagnano ancora oggi.
Sin da piccola amo disegnare e inventare storie, nella mia testa e su carta. Da bambina il mio sogno era quello di poterlo fare tutti i giorni, per sempre. Dopo aver frequentato il liceo linguistico, ho seguito il richiamo dell'intuizione e ho frequentato la Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano dove ho scoperto la grafica e l'illustrazione, la scrittura creativa e la sceneggiatura. Così immagini e parole sono diventate il filo conduttore della mia vita, accompagnandomi nei miei anni in Australia e Olanda, dove ho lavorato come copywriter, grafica e brand designer. Di giorno. Perché di notte riempivo quaderni con testi, poesie, soggetti e racconti, destinati solo ai miei occhi di lettrice.
Fino a quando ho trovato il coraggio di condividerli: prima con un agente letterario, poi con un altro, poi con un amico autore. E ognuno di loro mi ha detto la stessa cosa: le tue storie meritano la luce del giorno. Per questo motivo, eccomi qui, in veste di autrice inedita con alcune delle mie storie che hanno visto la luce.

My elementary school teacher used to say that I had my head in the clouds. In high school, my English teacher used to scold me because I asked too many questions. My mother said that I was stubborn. In other words, imaginative, curious and strong-willed: three qualities that still accompany me today.
Since I was little, I have loved drawing and inventing stories, in my head and on paper. As a child, my dream was to be able to do it every day, forever. After attending a linguistic high school, I followed the call of intuition and attended the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan where I discovered graphics and illustration, creative writing and screenwriting. Thus, images and words became the common thread of my life, accompanying me during my years in Australia and in the Netherlands, where I worked as a copywriter, graphic designer and brand designer. By day. Because by night I filled notebooks with texts, poems, subjects and stories, intended only for my eyes as a reader. Until I found the courage to share them: first with a literary agent, then another, then an author friend. And each of them told me the same thing: your stories deserve the light of day. So here I am, an unpublished author with some of my stories that have seen the light of day.
